Round and about
Within a 10 minute walk you arrive at Hornsea Mere, Yorkshire’s largest lake which is an RSPB reserve, and Wassand Hall, a stately home with a wonderful walled garden – on open days the tea rooms are open selling delicious home made cakes.
The local pub the Swan Inn is a short walk away and serves traditional ales and fine "pub grub".
Two and a half miles east you will find the seaside resort of Hornsea with lots of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and the Freeport shopping village.
Mews cottage at Cloverfields is a comfortable 2 bedroomed self-catering holiday cottage situated near the traditional seaside town of Hornsea in East Yorkshire. It was converted from a stable some six years ago – hence the name. It is located down a quiet country lane, boasting unrestricted views over neighbouring fields. Although it sits on the boundary of a working kennel and cattery, it is far enough away not to be affected by noise.
